CE Chicago:
Lots to catch up on from a very busy week! This week the kids enjoyed the day out at North Ave Beach. Taking a refreshing break from the scorching heat and playing some beach volleyball, although the sand was too hot for anyone to finish the game. But that didn't stop the fun as everyone rushed back into the water to play frisbee and toss the football around.
Afterward we all gathered at the laketo watch Chicago's famous Navy Pier Fireworks display for Independence Day. The dazzling view of the city skyline mixed with fireworks is a memory they won't soon forget!
Well how do you end such a monumental weekend in Chicago? With our deep dish pizza of course! The interns ended this weekend with dinner at Gino's East for a slice of Chicago "pie". A most fitting name for pizza this deep.
All that was left was to put on their Sunday best and head off to a great first day at their internships! That is of course, after an internship workshop created by our own Lauren O'Brien on how to make the best impression on your first day of work.
And judging by how sharply dressed all of our interns were, I'd say they were paying attention.
